At the Wynn in Vegas

Thoroughly impressed so far. Voting suite - nicely appointed room. Very classy and sophisticated. Over looking strip. Then again it helps that my company is paying for it.

So far I highly recommend

I was just there 2 weeks ago. Love Vegas. By there, I mean a shitty room in Harrahs. It was comped though for 4 nights so it was fine. Next time I'm definitely going to be staying in one of the nicer hotels. I strongly recommend CarneVino in the Palazzo. It's pricey but it's one of the top 5 dinners I've ever had.

It was great. Went Bradley Ogden restaurant in Caesars on the first night as my friend from college is the pastry chef. Had a 13 course tasting menu that was really good buttttttt I ended getting food poisoning from it and was out commission until the next night which absolutely sucked. We saw the Love show (Beatles) which was great and then saw Zumanity the next night which was stunning, thrilling and funny. We had dinner at Kokomos in Caesars one night and of course it was great but didn't come close to our dinner at CarneVino. All in all we had a great Vegas trip and my girlfriend left Vegas up about $800.

Colorado was beautiful and I wish I could move out there but work is preventing that. My brother lives in a small town about 45 minutes north of Denver. Colorado weather is great as its usually between 40 and 60 most of the time but of course our first night there we had 2 feet of snow dumped on us. Went into the mountains and did some snow shoeing and pretty much just visited brewery after brewery each day.

It was a great trip and can't wait to visit both areas soon again.

I'll try and check out carnevino if possible. I'm kind of at the mercy of our ceo's choice though for company dinners. We at at La Cava at the encore/Wynn. Beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent for the most part. Tapas style. Had a Wells Banana Bread Beer which was great. Unfortunately I have to work during the trip so I'll be limited as to what I can do.

Snow shoeing?? That sounds awesome

I'm telling you, if you bring up CarneVino as an option and actually go; guaranteed raise for your great knowledge of restaurants and he'll make sure that you are his new right hand man when he's on business trips. I'm only trying to make your life a little better, that's all.

I went to the club in the Aria. Was not a huge fan.

The club in Caesar's, I think it's called Pure, is pretty dope.

I don't go to casino's to hang out in "Da Club". I'm far more concerned with the poker and sports book rooms.

You know, here's a crazy idea: it is possible to do both.

The best strategy I've come up with when I visit the casinos is to chill at the bar and play the embedded poker machines.

If I lose, my drinks were comped and I'm drunk.

if I win, my drinks were comped and I'm drunk and I have more money.

What do you guys do, gamble!? Bwahahaha!

I stayed in NY NY and it was fine. Then I went to jail when Bellagio employees grabbed me and threw me in a room and told me to leave. After that, I was kicked out of my NY NY hotel and had to drunkenly find a new hotel not related to Bellagio.

I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Casino and had the most kickass room Ive ever stayed in in my life. Pool table, 3 double balcony doors, King bed separated from the living room, huge bathroom. Godam it was sick.

Probably wasnt worth going to jail, but its a funny story regardless.

The bellagio used to be the class of the strip. Now it's a dump. I like the aria because it's secluded from the spring break crowd. I'm there to play poker, bet sports, throw bones, and drink free 7 second beers at PUB. You guys can fight the guidos for the right to buy shooters and blow for girls with too much eyeliner and a lifetime supply of rid. I'm there on business.

Unless you're a professional gambler, you're not there on business.

1/2 or 2/5 NL. Depends on what's open. The daily tourney at the Aria is full of donkeys too.
